WooPayments in Your Country

If you are an individual or business based in one of our supported countries, you can sign up as a merchant with WooPayments. Once that’s done, you can accept payments from customers anywhere in the world in over 100 supported currencies.

WooPayments is available for individuals and businesses in:

NOTE: If you’re using WooPayments for a business, the relevant country is the one where your business is registered — not the one in which you personally live. For example, if you live in South Africa but your business is registered in the Sweden, you can use WooPayments for that business by selecting Sweden when signing up.

Outlying territories of France

A business must be located in Metropolitan France or within a French overseas region or territory that is within the European Economic Area to sign up with WooPayments as a French business.

Businesses based in Martinique, Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Réunion, Mayotte and Saint-Martin are currently supported when signing up for WooPayments as French businesses. Businesses based in French Polynesia, Wallis et Futuna, New Caledonia, Saint Barthélemy and Saint Pierre et Miquelon are not currently supported.

Outlying territories of the Netherlands

Businesses based in a constituent country of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, such as Aruba and Curaçao, are not currently supported.

Outlying territories of the UK

UK merchants must be based in the United Kingdom of Great Britain or Northern Ireland. Businesses located in a British Overseas Territory, like Bermuda, or a British Crown Dependency, like Jersey, are not currently supported.

Outlying territories of the U.S.

A business must be located in the 50 states, Washington, D.C., or Puerto Rico to sign up with WooPayments as a U.S. business. Businesses based in the US Virgin Islands or any other US territory or possession — with the exception of Puerto Rico — are not supported.

In support of creating a global commerce platform, the WooCommerce team is actively working to make WooPayments available to other countries. We prioritize new countries and currencies based on a number of factors, including the number of requests by WooCommerce store owners in that country.
