CertoConnect Payment Gateway

CertoConnect is a payment gateway that offers its users the possibility to accept debit/credit cards, plus more than 14 alternative payment methods such as PayPal, Alipay, Amazon Payments, WebMoney Transfer, Google Wallet and more. Integration is quick and easy and takes a couple of minutes.

An SSL certificate is not required to use CertoConnect gateway.

  1. Download the .zip file from your WooCommerce account.
  2. Go to: WordPress Admin > Plugins > Add New and Upload Plugin with the file you downloaded with Choose File.
  3. Install Now and Activate the extension.

Setup and Configuration

To configure the CertoConnect extension:

  1. Log into your WooCommerce store.
  2. Enable/Disable CertoConnect.
  3. Set your “Method Title” and “Description”. These options are seen on the checkout page.
  4. Enter your CertoConnect User ID.
  5. Enter your CertoConnect secret token.
  6. Choose if you want to use an iFrame mode instead of redirection.
  7. Enable “Debug Log”, if you want to get a log of the request and response steps and parameters.
  8. Save Changes.
  9. Recommended: make a few test payments before you go live.

  • Enable/Disable
    • Enable CertoConnect.
  • Method Title:
    • This controls the title which the user sees during checkout.
  • Description:
    • This controls the description which the user sees during checkout.
  • User ID:
    • Enter your CertoConnect User ID. A unique ID of your account with CertoConnect.
  • Secret token:
    • Enter your CertoConnect secret token found in your CertoConnect account > Settings > Secret Token.
  • Use iFrame:
    • Choose if you want to use an iFrame mode instead of redirection.
    • Note that when using iFrame some of the payment methods (like PayPal) will not allow it and your customers will still be redirected to CertoConnect.
  • Debug Log:
    • Recommended: Test Mode only.
    • Debug log will provide you with most of the data and events generated by the payment process. Logged inside woocommerce/logs/certoconnect.txt.
