Use Intelligence to explore sales, products, customers, and stock signals. Turn it on in WooCommerce AI settings, then choose an analysis from the tool list.
Before you start
↑ Back to topSign in as a store administrator or store manager. Your analyses need store history; an empty store or a small group of customers may not have enough data for a result.
Open Intelligence
↑ Back to top- Go to WooCommerce > Settings > WooCommerce AI. Complete the WordPress.com connection if the feature controls are unavailable.
- Turn on Enable intelligence. This setting saves automatically.
- Under the WooCommerce Analytics menu, select Intelligence.
- Choose a tool from the list. The initial tool is Stock level predictor.
Choose an analysis
↑ Back to top- Stock level predictor: forecast sales and stockout risk for one product.
- Product performance: group products by sales velocity and revenue contribution.
- Customer segments: group customers by recency, frequency, and spending, with optional outreach narratives.
- Price elasticity: examine how demand relates to price changes.
- Basket affinity: identify products that are bought together.
- Coupon effectiveness: compare coupon use and potential effects on sales.
- CLV forecaster: estimate customer lifetime value (CLV) over a forecast period.
- Replenishment radar: identify repeat-purchase patterns and customers due to reorder.
- Order funnel: examine progress and drop-off through order statuses.
- Geographic hotspots: compare revenue and growth across locations.
- Sales heatmap: examine sales by hour and weekday.
- Refund diagnostics: examine refund reasons and products or categories with high refund activity.
- Stockout cost: estimate lost revenue from recorded stockouts and calculate safety-stock recommendations.
Set the analysis window
↑ Back to topUse the tool’s available date-window and filter controls. The choices vary by analysis. Compare results over the same dates when checking them against another report. Forecasts and recommendations are estimates, not guarantees of future demand or revenue.
Start stockout tracking
↑ Back to top- Choose Stockout cost.
- If tracking is not enabled, select Start tracking now.
- Allow stock changes and orders to accumulate, then return to the analysis.
- Adjust the window, service level, and lead time to match your replenishment process. Review the resulting estimates before using them for an order.
Tracking records stock changes from the time it is enabled. It cannot reconstruct earlier stockout events. The default stockout window is 180 days, service level is 0.95, and lead time is seven days.
Understand customer data
↑ Back to topIn Customer segments, authorized administrators can view individual customers and their names. When you request a narrative, the tool sends anonymized segment summaries for analysis; it does not include customer names or email addresses in that request.
If there is no result
↑ Back to topIf Intelligence is missing, check Enable intelligence. If your selected customer group is empty, try a broader filter. Customer segmentation needs at least ten scored customers with usable order history. If a tool reports missing analytics data or insufficient history, read its message and check the corresponding WooCommerce analytics report. Record the tool, date window, error, and plugin version when contacting Woo support.
