Smart Coupons provide a powerful, “all-in-one” solution for gift cards, store credits, discount coupons, and vouchers, extending the core functionality of WooCommerce coupons.
This document provides a step-by-step guide on how to set up an email to remind users that their coupons/gift cards are not being used.
How to enable reminder emails for unused coupons:
↑ Back to top- Navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Emails, then locate Smart Coupons – Unused coupon reminder.
- Click on the Manage button.
- Click on the Enable checkbox to enable the feature.
- In the “How often should reminders be sent” dropdown, set this as “Once per day/week or month” or as per your requirements.
- In the “Inactivity period before reminder”, enter “X” days, which is when coupon emails need to be sent after the coupon is published.
- In the “Maximum reminders per coupon” field, enter the number of times the emails need to be sent.
- Click on Save changes.
Once saved, the emails will start scheduling in the background. The emails are ready to send once the process is completed.
