How to setup reminder emails for unused coupons

Smart Coupons provide a powerful, “all-in-one” solution for gift cards, store credits, discount coupons, and vouchers, extending the core functionality of WooCommerce coupons.

This document provides a step-by-step guide on how to set up an email to remind users that their coupons/gift cards are not being used.

  1. Navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Emails, then locate Smart Coupons – Unused coupon reminder.
  2. Click on the Manage button.
  3. Click on the Enable checkbox to enable the feature.
  4. In the “How often should reminders be sent” dropdown, set this as “Once per day/week or month” or as per your requirements.
  5. In the “Inactivity period before reminder”, enter “X” days, which is when coupon emails need to be sent after the coupon is published.
  6. In the “Maximum reminders per coupon” field, enter the number of times the emails need to be sent.
  7. Click on Save changes.

Once saved, the emails will start scheduling in the background. The emails are ready to send once the process is completed.
