How to automatically add affiliates to email list

Affiliate for WooCommerce plugin helps you to add, manage affiliates, and track performance from a single place – commissions, sales, payouts, leaderboard, etc. Earn money without hard work. Increase your brand outreach, and get potential customers.

Using the plugin, you can seamlessly connect with your preferred email marketing service to automatically add affiliate signups straight to your email list.

Note: Currently, integration is available for Mailchimp. More platforms to be added soon.

When are affiliates added to your email list?

The plugin automatically adds affiliates to your email list when any of the following happens:

  1. A user submits the registration form: they are added immediately, whether you automatically approve affiliates or approve manually (this works with the default registration form, Contact Form 7, and Elementor Form builder).
  2. Approve an affiliate.
  3. Reject an affiliate.

Note: The approve and reject actions are especially helpful for adding pending affiliates who submitted their application before you connect your email platform with the affiliate system.

  2. Navigate to your affiliate registration page.
  3. Fill out the registration form using a test email address and submit your application.
  4. Log in to your email marketing platform account (i.e., Mailchimp account).
  5. Navigate to your dashboard and check if it has been added to your contacts (i.e., Audience in Mailchimp).
  6. Verify that the First Name, Last Name, and Email Address from your test registration now appear in your list.

FAQs

1. Does this integration sync my past affiliates?

No. The integration only syncs data for new affiliates who register after the email platform (i.e., Mailchimp) connection is fully set up and saved.

2. Can I connect to multiple Mailchimp audiences at once?

The current setup supports syncing new affiliate registrations to one specific audience at a time.

3. My test contact did not show up in Mailchimp. What should I do?

First, double-check that your API Key and Audience ID are copied exactly as they appear in Mailchimp, with no extra spaces. Also, ensure the test email address you used is not already subscribed to that specific Mailchimp audience.
