How affiliates can create their own referral coupons

Affiliate for WooCommerce plugin helps you to add, manage affiliates, and track performance from a single place – commissions, sales, payouts, leaderboard, etc. Earn money without hard work. Increase your brand outreach, and get potential customers.

This feature allows affiliates to generate their own referral coupons directly from their dashboard, without needing to contact the store owner.

It gives the affiliates the freedom to create personalised coupon codes while you maintain control over the maximum discount allowed.

Requirement:

Ensure that you’ve enabled the Coupons for referral setting.

Then, enable the Affiliate-made coupons setting to allow affiliates to create their own referral coupons.

Once you enabled the Affiliate-made coupons, set the maximum discount affiliates can offer using the Affiliate coupon discount limit setting.

When this feature is enabled, and the affiliate doesn’t have any coupon assigned already, they will be able to create one by following these steps:

Go to My Account > Affiliate > Profile tab.
Under the Referral Details > Referral coupons section, you can see the option to Set up your own referral coupon.
Click on the Create button next to Create your referral code with a discount to share with your audience to create a new coupon.
Enter a unique coupon name (for example, SAVEWITHJOHN) in the text box where it says Enter your chosen code next to the Coupon code field. This name must be unique.
Enter the discount percentage in the text box next to Discount (in %), where it says Enter discount, along with the max percentage set by store admin (e.g., Enter discount (max 1%) ).
Click on Create coupon.
Upon successful creation, you will see the message Coupon created successfully.

Note: If the maximum discount is set to 0 in the Affiliate coupon discount limit setting, the affiliate cannot choose a discount amount, and it will only show this message: No discount will be applied, but this coupon will track referrals when used.

In such a case, the coupon will be used only for referral purposes.

How to view the assigned referral coupon?

Once the affiliate creates the coupon, they will be able to see it on the My Account > Affiliate > Profile tab, as explained here.

The store admin can also see the assigned coupon by following the steps mentioned here.
