Time Slots

Time Slots are fixed time blocks which are displayed to the user. These Time Slots will be displayed to the user once a date is selected. The user can choose one of the available time slots as their preferred delivery time.

When to Use Global Level Time Slots?

If your site offers a common Time Slot(s) for all the products sold on your site, then Global Level Time Slots can be helpful.

How to Setup Global Level Time Slots?

The settings for Global Level Time Slots can be found at Delivery and Pickup Scheduler > Time Slots.

Click on Add New Time Slot button.

Add a Title for the Time Slot. This Title will not be displayed to the user.

Time Slot Applicable For: Select Delivery Only in this option.

Time Slot Cut Off Time: Leave this option as empty.

Time Slot Range: Enter the Starting Time and Ending Time for the Time Slot.

Delivery Fee: You can optionally enter a delivery fee for the Time Slot.

Restrict Time Slot to Specific Days:

By default, the Time Slots will be displayed for all the days of the week. Optionally, you can restrict the Time Slot specific days of the week by enabling the Restrict Time Slot to Specific Days option.

Delivery Days: Select the days on which Time slots should be available.

Maximum Number of Orders:

By default, there is no restriction on how many orders can be placed using a Time Slot. Optionally, you can restrict the number of orders which can be placed in a Time Slot using the Maximum Number of Orders option.

Click on the Publish button once you are ready to Publish the Time Slot.

The Time Slot configured at Rule Level can only be used by the Rule for which it is configured.

When to Use Rule Level Time Slots?

If Certain Products on your Site can only be delivered on certain Time Slots, then Rule Level Time Slots can be helpful for your use case.

How to Setup Rule Level Time Slots?

The Rule Level Time Slots is available in the Time Slots section on the Scheduler Rule Configuration page.

In the Time Slots section, click on the Add New button.

In the Name Field, Fill in a Title. This will not be displayed to the user.

Applicable For: Select Delivery Only in this option.

Time Slot Cut Off Time:

Delivery Fee: You can optionally enter a delivery fee for the Time Slot.
