Before you get started with Anrok Tax for WooCommerce, make sure you have:

  • An Anrok account
  • WordPress 6.2 or later
  • WooCommerce 8.2 or later
  • PHP 7.4 or later
  • Taxes enabled on your WooCommerce store (navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > General and ensure that the Enable tax rates and calculations checkbox is selected)

Installation and Configuration

To configure Anrok Tax for WooCommerce, you will need to do the following.

  1. Install the Anrok Tax for WooCommerce extension.
  2. Create a WooCommerce API key.
    • Go to Settings > Advanced > REST API and click Add Key.
    • Give the key Read/Write permissions.
    • Copy the Consumer key and Consumer secret.
  3. Connect Anrok to WooCommerce.
    • In the Anrok app, go to Data sources and click Integrate system.
    • Under Data source, select WooCommerce.
    • Enter your WooCommerce store’s URL, along with the Consumer key and Consumer secret that you copied above.
    • Click Connect.
  4. Add WooCommerce products as Anrok Product IDs.
    • Under New products detected, select a corresponding Product type and Tax category for each product detected.
    • Make sure to select a Default productย andย Shipping cost product.
    • When you are finished, scroll down and clickย Continue.
  5. Import your WooCommerce Transactions
    • Under Select transactions to import, select the option that describes which transactions you want to import.
    • Select Import transactions (or Mark as finished depending on your previous selection).
    • When your transactions have finished importing, click Mark complete.
  6. Create an Anrok API Key
    • In the Anrok app, go to Data sources.
    • Under Integration sources, click the option menu button next to WooCommerce, then select Manage Anrok API key.
    • Select Generate Anrok API key, then copy the API key.
    • When you are finished, click Done.
  7. Enter the Anrok API Key in WooCommerce
    • In WordPress, go to WooCommerce > Settings > Tax > Anrok
    • Paste in the API key that you copied above.
    • Click Save changes.
