Google will soon begin transitioning from the legacy Content API for Shopping to the new, advanced Google Merchant API.
Please note: There is no action for you to take right now. Google and Woo are actively developing the necessary update to the Google for WooCommerce extension to make this migration seamless.
What does this mean for my store?
No Immediate Action Required:Â We will notify you here and in your WooCommerce dashboard as soon as the update is ready. You can expect being required to have the current extension version as of August 1st, 2026.
No Service Interruptions:Â Your current product sync and Google Ads campaigns will continue running exactly as they are.
Automatic Continuity:Â Once released, a simple plugin update will safely transition your store to the new API with zero downtime.
About Google for WooCommerce

Connect your store with Google Merchant Center

Google for WooCommerce does not support multi-client Merchant Center accounts (MCA).
