Deprecation of Woo AI Features

As of May 15th, the Woo AI plugin and its features will be deprecated.

What’s changing?

The following AI-powered features will no longer be available:

  • Generate product name
  • Write with AI (for product description and short description)
  • Suggest categories with AI
  • Background image removal

These features were part of the Woo AI plugin, which is being deprecated as we shift focus to more integrated solutions.

What do I need to do?

No action is required if you use the eCommerce plan on WordPress.com. The plugin and its features will be automatically removed after the deprecation date. If you run the plugin on a self hosted WordPress installation, you will need to remove it.
