The simplest way to start using a product from WooCommerce.com is to use the “Add to store” functionality on the order confirmation page or the My subscriptions section in your account.

  1. Navigate to My subscriptions.
  2. Find the Add to store button next to the product you’re planning to install.
  3. Follow the instructions on the screen, and the product will be automatically added to your store.

To set up your store with Order Warranty for WooCommerce:

  1. Install and activate the Plugin.
  2. Go to the product settings in WooCommerce and assign one or more warranty types to a product.
  3. Once assigned, the warranty information appears in the customer’s order tab on their account page.
  4. Customers can click “Request Warranty” and leave a message.
  5. The request is:
    • Sent to the shop owner by email.
    • Logged automatically in the warranty management table in the admin settings.
  6. Shop owners can review and manage all requests in one place, making the process much easier than handling everything via email.

Changing the notification Email

You can receive notifications for new warranty cases at any email address, so you can stay on top of your cases at all times.

To change the notification Email, please follow these steps:

  1. Go to: WooCommerce > Settings > Order Warranty .
  2. Enter your email in the field “Notification Email“.
  3. Save changes.

Setting Up retroactive Orders

In case you want to setup warranty for orders already completed on your store before you installed the plugin, the warranty can automatically be added to all orders leading back to the order date.

To enable retroactive orders, please follow these steps:.

  1. Go to: WooCommerce > Settings > Order Warranty .
  2. Enable “Turn on retroactive orders“.
  3. Save changes.
