Smart Coupons provide a powerful, “all-in-one” solution for gift cards, store credits, discount coupons, and vouchers extending the core functionality of WooCommerce coupons.
The purpose of regenerating and resending coupon emails is to make sure the customers in your store have not missed the coupon that was supposed to be received. This feature becomes useful when coupons are not generated due to some unknown external factors or due to any network issue.
This doc article explains how to Regenerate & Resend Coupon through Emails:
Steps to regenerate & resend coupons
↑ Back to top- Navigate to the WordPress Admin panel > WooCommerce > Orders dashboard.
- Open the order to which you want to Regenerate & Resend coupons.
- In the “Order actions” section, choose “Regenerate Coupons” from the dropdown menu to only regenerate coupons. Likewise, select “Regenerate & resend coupon emails” from the dropdown menu to both regenerate and resend coupons to recipients via email.
- Click on the arrow which is located just after the drop-down to complete the action.
That’s it.
Note: The option to “Regenerate coupons” and “Regenerate & resend coupon emails” will be visible only when there are no coupons generated that were supposed to be generated for an order.
The image below illustrates if the order was eligible for coupons but failed to generate them, as seen in the “Generated coupons” section within the order.
Tip: To see if you have resent or regenerated any coupons for an order, you can visit the Order notes for updates.
