The affiliate dashboard is the affiliate area of your WooCommerce store: where partners get their referral link, watch their earnings, request payment and manage their details. Affiliate and Referral Program for WooCommerce creates it for you and gives you two layouts, renameable menu items and your own CSS. This guide walks through what affiliates see and what you can change. Part of the plugin documentation.
Where the dashboard lives
↑ Back to topActivation creates an Affiliate Dashboard page carrying the [rtwapwcm_affiliate_page] shortcode. That single page adapts to whoever opens it: a logged-out visitor sees the registration form, a signed-in customer sees the Become an Affiliate invitation, and an approved affiliate sees the dashboard itself.
To put the dashboard within easy reach, turn on Show under My Account at WooCommerce > Affiliate & Referral > Advanced Features > General. An Affiliate item then appears in the customer’s My Account menu and takes them straight there.

What affiliates find inside
↑ Back to top- Overview – headline figures for total referrals, total commission, pending commission and wallet balance, with sales, order and device charts beneath them.
- Commission table – the rates that apply to them, so they can see what each product or category pays before promoting it.
- Referral table – every earning with its type, amount, order status and approval state, exportable to CSV or PDF.
- Affiliate tools – the link generator (with QR codes when enabled) and, if you allow it, turning wallet balance into a store coupon.
- Reports – clicks and purchases per link, plus a day-by-day breakdown, and a product feed they can download.
- Payout – their referral code, any coupon you assigned them, their payment method, and the withdrawal request form with its history.
- Profile – name, phone and password.
- Banners – ready-made creatives you upload, and a product banner builder that produces copy-and-paste HTML.
- Multi-tier( MLM ) – their network and per-level rates, when multi-tier mode is on.

Choose a layout
↑ Back to topGo to: WooCommerce > Affiliate & Referral > Advanced Features > General and set Affiliate Page Template.
- Template 1 – a cover image with a horizontal menu, rendered inside your theme, so your header, footer and navigation stay around it. Each affiliate can upload their own cover image.
- Template 2 – a left sidebar with a fixed top bar, which takes over the whole page: your theme’s header and footer are replaced by the plugin’s own full-screen layout.

The full-page takeover is the difference to weigh. Template 2 gives affiliates an app-like workspace with no store chrome; Template 1 keeps them inside your store, one click from shopping. Two features follow the choice: the three accent colours apply to Template 2 only, and affiliate notifications appear on Template 1 only.

Rename the menu items
↑ Back to topGo to: Advanced Features > Labels to put your own words on the dashboard menu. You can rename the Overview, tools, Download, Payout, Profile, banner and multi-tier items — useful for translating them, or for replacing the shipped tools label, which reads Affilate Tools.

Some items keep their built-in names — the commission and referral tables, the report and link tools, and the banner builder. Rename what you can, and use the Custom Css box on Advanced Features > General for the rest of the styling.
Send affiliates an announcement
↑ Back to topGo to: Advanced Features > Notification, press Add Notification and write a title and message. Every affiliate sees it under the bell in their dashboard header, with a count of unread announcements — the simplest way to tell your partners about a new product or a seasonal rate.

Announcements are shown on Template 1 only. If your dashboard uses Template 2, affiliates have no bell to see them in — use the affiliate emails instead. Announcements are plain text, so write the full message rather than relying on a link.
Put the dashboard where you want it
↑ Back to topThree shortcodes let you place the affiliate experience yourself:
- [rtwapwcm_affiliate_page] – the dashboard, including the registration and become-an-affiliate screens.
- [rtwapwcm_aff_reg_page] – the registration form on its own.
- [rtwapwcm_cust_ref_button] – the Refer & Earn button for the separate customer referral program.
FAQ
↑ Back to topCan I change the dashboard’s colours?
↑ Back to topThe three accent colours on Advanced Features > General apply to Template 2. For Template 1, and for anything else on either layout, use the Custom Css box.
Can I set a cover image for every affiliate?
↑ Back to topNo — the cover image on Template 1 is uploaded by each affiliate for their own dashboard. There is no store-wide cover setting.
Can affiliates change their email address?
↑ Back to topUsername and email are fixed on the Profile tab; affiliates can update their name, phone number and password there. Change an email address for them in Users.
Does the My Account link show for customers who are not affiliates?
↑ Back to topYes, and that is useful — it takes them to the Become an Affiliate invitation, which is a natural recruiting path from an existing customer base.
