Reviews: Send a special thank-you for 5-star reviews

This workflow will trigger a special thank you email to customers who leave a 5 star review on their product. You can limit it to only send once per customer if you prefer.

• A coupon – before we can construct the workflow, you will need to create a discount to offer your customers. You can create personalized coupons for each of your customers by following the personalized coupons guide.

Workflow setup

1. Create a new workflow.
2. Select the Order Completed trigger.
3. Add the rule Review Rating and then the additional option is and enter the value 5 to only apply this workflow to reviews of 5 stars. You can also look to limit it to 1 per customer.
4. Click Add Action and select Send Email and include the variable {{ customer.email }} as the email address.
5. Craft the content of the email. Include the personalized coupon by including the {{ customer.generate_coupon }} variable.
6. Click the Preview link to preview your email to ensure it is correct.
