Bring customers back to your store by promoting your new products and include a coupon

This workflow will trigger an email to encourage customers back to your store by showing them your latest products and includes a coupon to incentivise a purchase.

  • A coupon – before we can construct the workflow, you will need to create a discount to offer your customers. You can create personalized coupons for each of your customers by following the personalized coupons guide.

Workflow setup

  1. Create a new workflow.
  2. Select the Customer Win Back trigger.
  3. Enter the variable you want to use for Minimum days since purchase and Maximum days since purchase to determine when a customer is seen to be inactive.
  4. Click Add Action and select Send Email and include the variable {{ customer.email }} as the email address.
  5. Populate the required fields.
  6. Craft the content of the email. Include the personalized coupon by including the {{ customer.generate_coupon }} variable and you can include your most recent products by using the {{ shop.products | type: 'recent' }}.
  7. Click the Preview link to preview your email to ensure it is correct.
