High-performance order storage (often abbreviated to “HPOS”) is a scalable, reliable way of storing data in a WooCommerce site’s database. HPOS was previously known as “custom order tables” during the early stages of development.
As of version 5.5.0, WooPayments is compatible with high-performance order storage and will function normally with HPOS enabled.
