IMPORTANT UPDATE: AutomateWoo has moved to the WooCommerce Extensions Store which means product licenses are now managed on WooCommerce.com. If you need help with your WooCommerce.com subscription please refer to the guide on Managing WooCommerce.com subscriptions.
Because AutomateWoo has moved WooCommerce.com, instead of renewing, subscriptions on will expire after 1 year. You will need to purchase a new subscription from WooCommerce.com to continue to receive benefits like support and automatic updates.
The following documentation only applies to legacy AutomateWoo.com subscriptions.
Legacy AutomateWoo.com licenses were sold on an annual basis, entitling you to one year of updates and support. A subscription was used to manage the renewal of your licenses.
Your subscription information can be viewed and managed via the:
- Account > View Subscription page; and
- Account > Licenses page.
More information on using the Licenses account page can be found in the guide to Managing AutomateWoo.com Licenses. This document outlines how to view and manage a subscription on the View Subscription page.

On this page, you can view each of your subscription’s:
- Status

- Products licensed with the subscription
You can also:
- Cancel the subscription

Subscription Renewal
↑ Back to topTo keep your license active, your subscription needs to be renewed. This requires payment for another year of support & updates. When a renewal is due, an order will be created, stored in your account and emailed to you.
Auto Renew
↑ Back to topAutomateWoo.com provides auto renew functionality to conveniently process license renewals without any action from you. Auto renew can be enabled or disabled from your Account > Subscriptions page for each of your subscriptions.
With auto renew:
- disabled: you must login to your account and complete payment for a license renewal via the checkout page.
- enabled: payment will be processed against the payment method saved on the subscription when the next payment date arrives without any action required by you.
Toggle Auto Renew
↑ Back to topTo enable or disable auto renew:
- Go to your Account > Subscriptions page.
- Click the Auto Renew toggle
- Click the Confirm button
Your subscription will now have auto-renew enabled or disabled. You can toggle between the two states at any time.

Auto-renew can also be enabled or disabled on the Account > Licenses page. For details on this process, refer to the guide to Managing AutomateWoo.com Licenses.
Early Renewal
Instead of waiting until your license’s next scheduled renewal date arrives, you can renew an active subscription at any time during its life-cycle.
To renew a subscription early:
- Go to your Account > Subscriptions page.
- If you have more than one subscription, click View next to the subscription you want to renew.
- Click the Renew Now button
- Complete checkout
After the subscription has been renewed early, its next payment date will be extended by another year from the date its next payment was due.
For example, if a subscriptions next payment was due 1st January 2019, and it was renewed on 1st December 2018, its next payment date will be extended until 1st January 2020.

Cancellation
↑ Back to topYou can cancel your subscription at any time. To cancel your subscription:
- Go to your Account > Subscriptions page.
- If you have more than one subscription, click View next to the subscription you want to cancel.

For example, if a subscription was scheduled to renew on the 1st January 2020, but it is cancelled on 1st December 2019, the license will remain active until the 1st January 2020.

Reactivation
↑ Back to topIf you change you mind after cancelling a subscription, you can reactivate the subscription at any time within the pre-paid term.
To reactivate a subscription Pending Cancellation:

Multi-License Subscriptions
↑ Back to topIf you purchase a license for an add-on, like Refer A Friend, in the same transaction as your AutomateWoo license, both licenses will be managed by the same subscription.
It is still possible to upgrade, downgrade or cancel individual licenses on this subscription. Each license can be upgraded or downgraded following the same process for single-license subscriptions.

Cancelling a Single License
↑ Back to topTo cancel only one license on a multi-license subscription:
- Go to your Account > Subscriptions page. If you have more than one subscription, click View next to the subscription you want to cancel.
- Click the red X button next to the license you want to cancel.
This will remove only that license from the subscription. The license will remain active until the next payment date, at which time it will not be included in the renewal and expire.
Note: you can undo the license removal immediately after removing the item. To do so, click Undo in the confirmation notice that is displayed on the page after removing the item.
