Can I migrate my information between accounts?

Switching to a new WooCommerce Payments account should be avoided in most circumstances. This is because it’s not possible to migrate all of the data from one account to another. Even after the new account is up and running, transactions that took place on the old account will no longer be manageable via your WooCommerce dashboard, so you will be unable to refund them or respond to disputes, for example.

Should you need to change some of the information in your WooCommerce Payments account, there are ways to do that:

There is, however, one instance in which migrating to a new WooCommerce Payments account would be required, and that is if your business moves from one country to another. For example, if your business moves from the U.S. to Ireland, and you want to keep using WooCommerce Payments, you would need to switch to a new account. Migrating from a Stripe account to a WooCommerce Payments account 

Migrating from a regular Stripe account to a WooCommerce Payments account requires that we coordinate with Stripe to properly move data over to our systems. Not all data can be moved either: at this time, only customer data and their associated payment methods (credit cards, ACH, etc.) can be migrated. As such, there may be some manual steps involved on your part to fully complete the transition.
