Yes, you can use Stripe and WooCommerce Payments at the same time. However, because these two payment gateways are similar, using both is almost never necessary. We highly suggest that you read our comparison of the two in addition to this document.
If you do decide to use both, there are a few complications to be aware of.
Multiple Apple or Google Pay buttons
↑ Back to topUsing WooCommerce Payments and Stripe may mean that both plugins load their respective Apple Pay and Google Pay buttons. This looks strange and can cause confusion for your customers.

To avoid this, you can disable the express checkout methods in either the Stripe or WooCommerce Payments settings. (Or both, if you don’t want to use the express checkout buttons at all.)
Similar payment names in checkout
↑ Back to topIf you are using both gateways to accept payments, the names they are given on the checkout page may be confusingly similar, especially if you enable the new checkout experience in both.

The WooCommerce Payments name can be changed with a translation plugin such as Say What or Loco Translate. Here’s an example of how to change the name with Say What:

As a result, the Stripe payment method will be hidden during checkout if you have a WooCommerce Payments subscription product in your cart.
Here’s an example of how the checkout form will look with a WooCommerce Payments subscription product. The Stripe plugin is active, but is hidden by WooCommerce Payments.
