The WooCommerce AWeber Newsletter Subscription extension is a WordPress plugin which provides you with the ability to subscribe your customers to different AWeber lists during checkout and include an AWeber Web Form in any widget area.
Information Collection and Storage
↑ Back to topWe do not collect or store any of your AWeber login information, Access Tokens, or content. As the plugin is installed on your website then any information is stored within your website’s database. Your AWeber login information is not stored in your database by our plugin. Our plugin stores your AWeber Access Token in order to communicate with the AWeber’s API. It also temporarily stores the raw JSON data from AWeber API, which is then used as detailed in the “Usage of Data” section.
The plugin collects the name, email, IP address and the purchased products from your customers after they make a purchase in your store. This data is stored in your website’s database and in the AWeber platform database when the customer is subscribed to an AWeber list.
Information the Plugin Displays
↑ Back to topThe plugin optionally displays a field in the checkout form to subscribe your customers to different AWeber lists and an AWeber Web Form in any of the widget areas of your website.
Usage of Data
↑ Back to topThe plugin uses the collected data to subscribe/unsubscribe your customers to different AWeber lists and update the subscribers’ info on the AWeber platform.
Sharing of Data
↑ Back to topWe share the information mentioned above with AWeber.
We will not share your data with any third parties under any circumstances.
Removal of Stored Data
↑ Back to topWhen the plugin is removed from your website the saved data is deleted from your database, unless you choose to have it remain by enabling the relevant setting in the plugin.
Changes to this Policy
↑ Back to topWe may revise this Privacy Policy in the future. If a change is made to this policy that we believe is material then we will update this page. By continuing to use the plugin after those changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Privacy Policy.
