How to provide store credit for a refund

Smart Coupons provide a powerful, “all-in-one” solution for gift cards, store credits, discount coupons, and vouchers, extending the core functionality of WooCommerce coupons.

This doc explains how to offer store credit as a refund on the website for your users.

To offer a refund, you should follow the documentation of the WooCommerce plugin here. Once you have processed the refund, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to Marketing > Coupons.
  2. Select the “Send Store Credit” tab.
  3. In the “Send to” field, add the email address of the customer to whom you want to send the Store Credit coupon.
  4. Enter the amount that needs to be refunded in the “Worth” field.
  5. Enter an expiration date if necessary in the “Expiry Date” field.
  6. Enter the message in the “Message” field regarding the refund.
  7. Click on the “Send” button.
