  1. Install and activate the plugin for your WordPress website.
  2. Select Get Started’. 
  3. Grant Access to Kliken to connect to your store.
    • This allows us to automatically access your store catalog and more, allowing for seamless integration between your Store and our Platform.
  4. Complete the short sign-up form to create your account and password.
    • First – Select the appropriate email address or add a new one for your account.
    • Second – Choose the currency you would like to view your reporting in.  
    • Third – If you’re an existing Kliken user, enter your password. 
    • Fourth – Review & Agree to our Terms of Service
    • Select Save Preferences

How to Set Up Your Meta Ads & Pixel

Once Meta Ads & Pixel for WooCommerce is installed and you have set up your account, you are only a few minutes away from having your products on their way to Facebook and Instagram. 

Step One: Connect to Facebook

When you installed the Kliken application, we connected your store to our platform. The next step is to link your store and our platform to Facebook. This connection is essential to ensure your data is automatically accessible for advertising on Facebook and Instagram. Please note that ads cannot run without completing this step.

  1. Select the Facebook Ads section from the menu on the left-hand side of your dashboard. 
  2. Select Connect now
  3. On the next page, you’ll be asked to provide Kliken access to your Facebook business page and the data associated with this. You can edit what data and to what pages within the ‘Edit access’ section now.

Step Two: Set Up Meta Pixel & Conversions API

A critical step in Facebook Ads is implementing the Meta Pixel, and the Meta Conversions API (often called CAPI). These two, in combination, allow for a comprehensive tracking setup that helps improve the campaign’s targeting and ad performance while ensuring accurate statistics on your marketing are being captured. 


  1. Select the Facebook Business Page for which you will create the marketing campaign. Note that you can only select one page per account. 
    • If you do not have a Facebook Business page, select ‘Create a new page.’ This will navigate you to Facebook, where you can complete the page creation process. After this is completed, return it to your Kliken dashboard, and you can proceed.
  2. Select the Meta Pixel, which will be associated with and assigned to the campaign. If you have multiple pixels, we recommend using the primary pixel related to the page you are advertising.
    • If you already have a pixel, we do not recommend creating a new one. Your existing pixel has a treasure trove of data that can help your new campaigns from the beginning. 
    • If you do not have a pixel, you can select Create a pixel for me.” This will create a new pixel that will be associated with your Facebook page. 
  3. Once you’ve selected your page and pixel, you can select ‘Confirm.’
  4. You’ll be presented with a summary message to confirm that the connection has been successful. Congratulations—you are ready to start building ads! 

Step Three: Launch Meta Advantage+ Campaign

Now, we are ready to launch!

Select ‘Get Started’ to confirm that you are starting the campaign build process. At this stage, no payment is required. 

  1. Select a Location for your campaign. You can do this at a Country, Region, State or City level. Please note, we can only provide targeting into allowed countries, so if you do not see the location you would like to target, and it is NOT a restricted location by Facebook, contact our Support Team as soon as possible and we’ll take a look.
  2. Select the products you want to include in your ads. The product categories are replicated from your Store Catoglog. Once you select a category, ALL products are included in the Ad.
  3. Review any issues with your store or products. You can always come back to fix these later, but remember, these issues could impact the performance of your campaign.
  4. Look at how your ads will display once you launch. It’s nice to see all that hard work you put in pay off.

Step Four: Budget & Start

Now that you’ve built your campaign, it’s time to launch it and get your products in front of future customers. Kliken’s transparent purchase and billing process allows you to set a monthly budget, so you’ll know exactly how much you’ll be paying each month for your advertising. 

  1. Before purchasing, you’ll be asked to verify that your store, products, and advertised content are not in contravention of Facebook’s (or Kliken’s) Advertising standards. Once completed, you’ll be able to proceed to the purchase. 
  2. On the checkout page, 
    • You’ll select which currency you would like to make your payment in
    • You’ll select your initial monthly budget. 
    • You’ll be asked to complete the payment.
      • Kliken campaigns are pre-paid. Think of it as if you’re loading ad credits into your account, which your campaign uses daily to run! You can always increase (or decrease) this at a later date. 
    • Complete the checkout process. 
    • Congratulations—you are the proud owner of a Meta Advantage+ Campaign! Your ads must be reviewed and approved by Facebook prior to launching, and this process is automatically initiated once you purchase. If anything is found during the review, we’ll notify you immediately to help resolve the issue. 

How to Manage Your Meta Ads & Pixel

With Meta Ads & Pixel, your campaigns are automated, but you can still make adjustments when necessary. To update your campaign:

  1. Navigate to Meta Ads > Manage.
  2. Select the pencil icon to edit your active campaign.
  3. Adjust targeting, modify your ad content, or update the budget.

Track Sales Performance & Campaign Results

Stay informed about your campaign’s performance directly from your WooCommerce dashboard. Navigate to Meta Ads > Dashboard to access:

  • Detailed analytics on ad performance, including traffic, sales, and return on investment (ROI).
  • Insights at the campaign, category, and product levels to identify what’s working best and where you might need to adjust.

  • Account ID: A unique identifier created when you set up your account, used to connect your store with our system. When contacting Support this is a great way to help us more quickly identify your account and any potential issues.
  • Application Token: This secure token is generated to link your account and store, providing an extra layer of security.
  • Meta Verification Token: Used to verify your website with Meta, ensuring you’re an authorized owner.
