Installation

1. Download the sales-triggers-for-woocommerce.zip file from your WooCommerce account.

2. Go to: WordPress Admin > Plugins > Add New and Upload Plugin with the file you downloaded with Choose File.

3. Install Now and Activate the extension.

In order for the triggers to be displayed in the frontend, first, you have to enable “Enable Sales Triggers” checkbox. Trigger Configuration

To create a new trigger, go to Sales Triggers > Sales Triggers and click “Add New” button.

Deal Expiry – Configuration

In the Trigger Type option, select Deal Expiry.

General

To display the Deal Expiry Trigger on the single product page, select “Yes” in “Show on Single Product Page” option.
Select the position to display the trigger on the single product page in “Display Position” option.
You can display Day Left/Date Left/Countdown timer for the Deal Expiry Trigger. In “Trigger Display Type” option select the option as per your requirement. If “Day Left” is selected, the number of days left for the sale price to end will be displayed. If “Date Left” is selected, then the date by which the sale price will end will be displayed. If “Countdown Timer” is selected, then a live countdown timer with the remaining time for the sale price to end will be displayed.

Criteria

By default, the Sales Trigger will be displayed for all users. If you want to restrict sales triggers to specific users, userroles, products, categories, you can do so by customizing the criteria option.

Low Stock – Configuration

In the Trigger Type option, select Low Stock.

General

To display the Low Stock Triggers on the single product page, select “Yes” in “Show on Single Product Page” option.
Select the position to display the trigger on the single product page in “Display Position” option.
In “Activate Scarcity Mode when Stock Reaches” field, set the stock quantity by which the trigger has to be displayed. For example, if 5 is set in this field, the trigger will be displayed if the stock is 5 or less.

General

To display the Guarantee Trigger on the single product page, select “Yes” in “Show on Single Product Page” option.
Select the position to display the trigger on the single product page in “Display Position” option.
To add a Guarantee Information, click “Add New Guarantee” button. Give the title of the Guarantee information in the “Guarantee Title” field. Give the description of the Guarantee in the “Guarantee Content” field. If you want to add an icon for the information which you are displaying, then in “Icon” option, browse and upload the image.

Best Reviews – Configuration

In the Trigger Type option, select Best Reviews.

General

To display the Best Reviews Trigger on the single product page, select “Yes” in “Show on Single Product Page” option.
Select the position to display the trigger on the single product page in the “Display Position” option.
If you want to hide the trigger in case if low rating(percentage) is given for the product, then in “Hide Trigger if Rating is Less than” option, set the percentage from which the trigger has to be displayed. For example, if 75 is given in this field, then the trigger will be displayed only if the rating percentage is 75 percent or more.

Translation

Sales Triggers for WooCommerce Plugin is translation ready meaning you can edit the po files by which you can translate the text to any language. The steps to do the translation are as follows. For eg let us consider translation to French.

Download and install Poedit
Open the file sales-triggers-for-woocommerce → languages folder → sales-triggers-for-woocommerce.pot using Poedit.
Create a new translation file by clicking Create new translation button
Choose the Source text and set its corresponding French text in Translation Text Area.
Save the changes.
Save the file name as sales-triggers-for-woocommerce-fr_FR.po
Then go to WordPress dashboard → Settings → General and select the Site Language as French
